New iPhone User

I just thought I would introduce myself, Hi I'm Claudia.

I got my first iPhone yesterday, the 7 plus, and so far I'm quite pleased. I have had Android phones forever, the last one a Note 4, and decided it was time.

While I am very new to iPhone I am not new to IOS, I've been using iPads for the last 5 years and I switched from Windows to iMac a year ago.

I know I'm going to have quite a few questions but I'll scan the forums for a while to see if they have already been answered here before pestering you.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
I'm still reading and learning, but curious about how to block a phone number, is there a good app for that?
Not having any luck getting carplay to work in my car either, phone, Siri, and music works fine, I'm thinking I may have bought my car a few months early as I see the 2017 shows it's compatible but not the 2016. Oh well maybe they will do a flash update on the 2016 MyLink.

I am loving this phone and can't believe how much faster it is than the Note 4.

Hi Claudia, You don't need a special App to block phone numbers.
If someone has recently called you, go to Recents and tap the I for information symbol - scroll to the bottom and you will find the option to 'block this caller". Similarly, go the person concerned in Contacts, scroll to the bottom and tap Block this Caller.

Thank you Caroline, I should have been able to figure that out. lol The only calls I block are the robocalls from "Lisa" and her friends, I wish it was as easy to block those on the landline.
