Thank you so much "poisonivy"for your quick reply. Can you help me? I have my iphone 4s and it automatically restart sometimes shut-off then need to reset the unit to make it operational again. May I know what would be the possible cause of this automatic shutoff/restart? Thank you

im not sure what the problem might be but you could try a hard reset,you do this by holding down your home button and sleep/wake button together until the apple appears,then let go and the phone will reboot,let us know how it goes.
