New to iphone and here, dead iphone???

Hi guys, new here, have introduced my self in the new user section

Any way, i was given an iPhone which while being restored "hung" on this screen

aparrently it was connected to itunes, and the pc screen said it was waiting for iphone", and the phone was stuck on the above screen, after an hour of this, my mate unplugged it, that was this morning, he was doing it to give to me, how ever i said i would look for a solution.

Now, i know nothing about these phones, i am moving from a Blackberry. it was jail broken and was on the latest os.

any help would be appreciated.

weyhey all sorted, after it running down the battery i reconnected it, pc found it an itunes recovered it, fantastic result. but no thanks to this forum , something in the region of 230 views and not one hint of help, some friendly forum eh

It was probably stuck there because you didn't enter DFU mode before restoring.
