how can I embed youtube videos?

Copying and pasting the links should automatically embed the video...

Half of my photos in the photo album on my iPhone 3G turned into blue squares with question marks in the middle. Anyone know why this happened & how to get photos back? I'm a newby so please explain in layman terms.
