New user can't update iphone

i can't seem to get the newest update. I connect it to Itunes and it keeps saying error, and my itunes is updated.

From what I've read and what happened to me. There is a problem with the USB driver during the update. My phone got stuck and I had to use a different PC that didn't have the iTunes updated to finish the update. I believe it is an Apple issue.
