Newb question: Hot to make my iphone 3gs louder?

I am completely new to Iphone usage and have problems with the low volume. The standard ringtones are very low even on the highest setting, speaking volume is OK, I just put in on loudspeaker when I have to. I read somewhere that the standard ringtones are low in volume and it has nothing to do with the performance of the speakers. I would like to have the loudest tone possible so I can use my phone at work, it is a problem because I almost never hear it. Can anybody recommend a page with either custom extreme ringtones or a way to make your own loud tones?


I am just getting into this, bear with me until I get the hang of it..... =)
