thank you. I tried to search but came up empty on this subject. I want to delete just missed calls but when i do that it asks to delete all recent calls. i would also like to be able to delete just one number from recent calls but so far it will not let me do this. Is there an area that i missed where there is a total phone history?

so without jail breaking then it can't be done? That is exactly what i mean. Does it delete certain numbers too? (when in the all section.) There should be a delte all missed calls only button so you don't have to do each one on its own.
You can delete any number one by one, it doesn't matter if it's the all calls section, miss calls section, you delete what you want and when u want, just the way u can think of, and yes you need to jailbreak in oder to be able to do this.

Why not? It's called "call/log delete" it's in cydia. Just download, install and respring your phone and you can delete whatever phone number you want from the call log.
