1) When you take a photo with the iphone and then sync to your mac, where can you find the photo on your mac?

2) When you have wireless wifi sync set up, should you hit eject in itunes before turning off wireless on the phone or does it not matter?

1) I only use iPhoto, so mine are in the directory I set in preferences for iPhoto. Unfortunately I don't remember the original base directory it uses.

2) Does not matter. iTunes won't even care until the iPhone is plugged in to charge and the iPhone is on the same network subnet as the computer.

Thanks! Looking into iPhoto, that will accomplish what I need using the photostream.

You will love iPhoto and Photostream especially if you are using wireless syncing. Basically iPhoto gets two shots at photos you take under that setup. Once when you are on any WiFi network and again when your phone syncs with iTunes. Between the two you should always have a full backup of every photo in iPhoto as well as the last 1000 or 30 days of photos in the stream.
