Recently did the new update 5.1.1 (I think)(update on 12th may) since then My phone has continually dropped out and gone to "no service" despite where I am. I cannot then get service back unless I turn my phone off and restart it, then my service returns to normal even if I haven't moved from the area I just had no service in.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, and does anyone know what can be done to fix it as it is becoming quite annoying and I am missing several calls and texts.
Thanks

Try doing a hard reset, hold your on/off button and home button down at the same time until the apple appears, this will fix most glitches.

If you have Verizon, try reactivating it. Call *228. You can choose option 2 to update towers or option 1 will reactivate.

I've had this issue as well. Cutting my phone off and back on didn't help. I had to wait until AT&T decided to work again

Sent from my iPhone 4S using iPF.net

After trying resetting the phone I updated all software even did a factory restore none of which worked
I replaced the sim card and this has seemed to fix the problem
