my I Phone 4S will not play music sounds or ring sounds or any sounds outside of earphones. Not on silent not on do not disturb, already replaced the speaker. works fine with ear phones and the volume buttons work then as well but wont without the earphones. HELP

It might seem an obvious question but did you toggle the mute button on the left hand side to on?
