No Sounds

My Iphone 4 seems to have lost all sounds. It will vibrate when recieving a call but no ring tone. I powered it down and let it set idle for 5 minutes (3 times). This did not help.
When I go to my settings and change my ring tone it will give the sample tones loud and clear but still won't ring.
I also have no alert sounds or page clicks, nothing.
Anyone have any suggestions?

look at the little switch on the side make sure its click towards the screen, if you see a little orange stripe your set to silent
