I recently replaced the whole flex cable and the 3 side buttons to control the volume on a 6 plus. After doing this, I now have no volume through the earpiece speaker, but volume from the loudspeaker and headphone jack works fine. The mute button functions properly and screen doesn't say headphone when changing volume. I have also replaced the ear speaker. I have tried all the factory resets, software updates, and silly "fixes" that other people have used with success. Does anyone have any ideas? I have a new flex cable assembly coming for the front camera and speaker as well, but I highly doubt it went bad when it worked perfectly fine before I replaced the buttons.
