Not a new member but not been around for a while

Basically, I dropped my iPhone in the shower, many many months ago and resigned it to a shoebox on my wardrobe, hoping one day I might revive it (however small the chances)

One thing led to another and now here I am, with the best part of four iPhones (two 3G's and 2 3GS's) along with various other components for them, after I convinced myself that not only would repairing iphones be fun, but also profitable.

Alas I have reached the point where I need to ask for help, something my ego refuses to tolerate. It's silly really, I dont know why I didnt come to a place where Experts! come gather round and fix and mend things together, share advice and generally get better and supportive. Sanity is restoring in me!

You're closer to the truth than you could possibly imagine my friend, Imagine we've been to similar places and returned stronger and tougher than ever?
