not charging

when I charge my iphone 6 with the apple charger it wont charge it seems to discharge but when I charge it through my computer it charges fine. I can charge my ipad with the with the same apple charger and it charges fine any ideas why the phone won't charge with the apple charger, it's been charging fine for the last year?

When you charge the iPad and iPhone with that charger are you plugging it into the same outlet?
