Nothing in sent file

My wife has an iPhone4. When she sends an email nothing shows up in her Sent folder. But if she send an email from our PC the email pops up in her phone Sent folder as it should.
Any help would be appreciated

Is this a new problem? Or has it been like that a long time? Either way, you might try deleting the email account in settings, then do a hard reset, then add the email account back in settings. Hope that works.
