Notification center questions?

Hi everyone, I had a couple of questions about the notification center in the iPhone 4s. How do I change what it shows? Mine is currently showing the calendar, email and some other things I don't want, how do I change what I'd like to see and what not? I was also wondering how do I change the time for mail to check for new emails, I remember that mine is set to 5 mins but I don't remember where I saw that in order to change it. I'd like to point out that I have lockinfo installed from cydia and I'm not sure if that may or may not interfere on the notification center dropdown window. Thanks a lot to anyone that'll help me, I'll really very much appreciate any kind of help. Thanks again!

Go to Settings > Notifications and you'll be able to specify what appears in the notification center. You can also change the behavior of the individual items that appear.

You can change email settings in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
