Notification question

Is there a way to automatically show an email as it comes in via a popup (that you can close) or via a Notification App? I have Notified Pro which I like but I don't like how I have to open the app up manually to see the notifications. I'd rather it open everytime I get a notification so I can clear it immediately. Thanks so much for any suggestions.
