Notifications?

I accidentally discovered a notification feature by pulling down the screen and it shows the weather and the stock market, what else notification I can have there and how to set them? thanks

I freaked out at first coz I didn't know how to get to home screen without pressing the home button then I rubbed my finger all over the screen till I finally see the screen again and figured it out how to open it. I couldnt wait to tell my wife what I've discovered, felt like a little kid lol!
