Now that we have iCloud Keychain..

Now that iOS 7.0.3 includes iCloud Keychain, how do we use it? Does it simply remember usernames and passwords entered into Safari? Can we manually add usernames and passwords to iCloud Keychain. I just updated my iPhone 5 and iPad 4 to iOS 7.0.3 and was looking forward to iCloud Keychain, but I'm at a loss as to how it works.
