Off line map

Hi yesterday i saw my friends android phone in which i saw map app work offline but iphone map app not only did not work offline also map did not show road/street proper names. Any app any body advice which work offline but also knows our location cery well. Tks

Use Google Maps ...it's better IMO and has offline and most definitely what you saw on his Android phone
