Original iphone issue?

I have tried numerous times to fix this issue, my iphone will not find any wifi networks, it does nothing but search, my iphone 5 finds at least 8 wifi networks close by :/ any ideas?

What version of IOS? I seem to remember iOS 6.0 had a wifi issue. Have you tried resetting networking? Is this an iPhone 4 (you mentioned your 5 works)?

Hi this is an original iphone from back in 2007 lol apple have offered to replace the device for £126.44 but is it worth it ??
