My iPhone 4 occasionally gets very warm, especially now in the summer, if I'm walking around outside a lot and either listening to music or trying to read something.

A couple of weeks ago the screen blacked out, and I did a reset (powered off, then on again, and it was fine.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes mine is also getting hot easily nowadays but I'm not worried about it anyway. I try to keep it away from the sun and also not in my pocket. And I don't try to play game or read books when I know I'm outside and in a hot environment.

Same here. I cool my phone down by letting it stay with me inside an air conditioned room with the temperature dropped really low :p

ALL Batteries doesn't like heat. Just don't use it too much. What else can I say?

I've noticed when playing fps games and powered from the adapter the back of mine gets very hot.

some times when i have it pluged into my stereo for pandora on a really really hot day i will get a warning triangle sign on my phone saying its to hot. so i just set it next to my vent while the A/C is on and it comes back to normal but other than that it doesnt happen alot.

I live in the Uk so I dont think i will need to worry about hot weather affecting my iphone !

I'd suggest a condom, but the darn IP4 is slippery enough as it is.

mind you, the wife keeps threatening to ram it somewhere dep and dark if I don't stop tweeting her (instead of talking lol! ).
