overpassing proxy on apps

I already know that only safari,weather, app store and others that i dont know work under proxy authentication.
In my college there's that authentication.. i have a username and password.
is there anyway to bypass proxy in order to make them work?!
my desired apps are:
whatsapp
nba league pass
facebook
viber
and others.

Why don't u just use your 3G connection? Those apps work very well on 3G. As for proxy, they also work over proxy.

i dont have 3g connection. I'm in Lebanon now. still 2nd generation i know it's pretty ugly. so there's a way to overcome the proxy?? a cydia app or anything like this?

Ok, even though you don't have 3G, get "3G unrestrictor" or "my3g" from cydia, the both work for edge and GPRS as well.

i know that. but i tried to search how to overpass the proxy because i wana use the highspeed connection down at my university. i couldnt find a single thing. so i'm hoping to get help in here to be able to use my apps normally

I don't get it. What do you call proxy? You mean you are having a censorship on your university network and but you want to connect to your university network and pass by the censorship and run whatever app or open whatever website you want?
What can't you do access via your university network? What apps aren't runing while you are connected to your university website?

That's the same with my school... They bloke everything.. Isn't there a way to over pass it? My friend has an iPod touch 4 and she would love to have Facebook and stuff ok it at school.

no man not that. the connection just uses proxy authentication so that only the students who have accounts can access the internet.. i can use safari, app store, weather.. cydia loads and everything but wont download packages. u got what i mean now?

Ok I see, bit if you can use safari to view web pages, if you can use the app store to view applications, it means that you are already downloading data. Without been able to download data, safari wouldn't load any page. But maybe you have a big limitation on the downloading speed which is of course a proxy doing that. To pass by that limitation you will have to navigate incognito which mean that you need a VPN. There is sisco VPN for free and VPN express which is not for free. Sisco VPN is also slow proxy where by VPN express provide faster proxy. Read about them by doing some googling.

If i try to open watsapp or facebook or viber these apps give me a warning that u r not connected to the internet when i'm really connected on safari.. That's very weird issue, and are you able to run whatsapp or facebook on other wifi connection like your home wifi connection? I can't see why you are able to run safari well and other apps but you are not able to run whatsapp or facebook. Maybe the apps are the ones having issues? Are you able to open Facebook via safari? If yes then your issue seems to be app related instead of proxy or connection.

Yeah of course i can run these apps on my home connection..and I can open FB on safari in college.. Is there any tweak or system file from cydia that can trick the apps to think that they are running on normal wifi or 3g for example? There's the opposite way around for sure.. I guess tht would solve it maybe

Still did not work... they keep giving me that i'm not connected to the internet.. safari and app store ask me for my username and pass when i start them and they work when i log in normally... my3g and 3g unrestricted ddnt solve it..

It could then be some thing with your iOS or with the phone then, but it's weird that you are able to connect on your home wifi and can not run all apps on your school network. Get VPN express from the app store, you will have a trial period with the VPN. Try it and see if VPN solve the issue.
