Pangu Team Announces Apple TV 4 Jailbreak Release Next Week

Alongside Friday's release of the iOS 9.1 Jailbreak for mobile devices, the Pangu team behind the tool announced that it would be releasing a Jailbreak for the new Apple TV. The Jailbreak is said to come out at some point next week and will support Apple TV 4 devices running tvOS 9.0 or 9.0.1.

While this may sound like exciting news, this Jailbreak will only support SSH access, without any sort of UI implementation. In the future we may see a version of Cydia(or some alternative) pop up on Apple TV 4, for now this Jailbreak is mostly for developers to begin building tweaks, themes and more.

Tweaks on Apple TV 4 would be a great way for folks to use the device with new features Apple doesn't offer. It may sound like a small step, but thinking long term, Apple TV Jailbreaking can have endless possibilities.
