Parallels Access was launched back in 2013 as an iPad-exclusive app, bringing Windows and Mac virtualization to iOS, along with natural navigation gestures and near-native performance. Parallels then rolled out a universal version in the summer of last year, a move that was appreciated by iPhone users.
The app has now been updated both for iPhone and iPad users, but there are certain specific features, as well. Let's have a look at all the new features and improvements:
- Support for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
- Full-scale File Manager
- Support for iOS 8 Document Picker to copy and view files from other apps in Parallels Access
- Ability to play sounds from remote computer when the app is in background
- Option to play sound on your mobile device or remote computer
- Improvements to Lock’n’Go Magnifying Glass
- Performance optimizations and stability improvements
