However it looks like Pebble wants its brand of smartwatch to appeal to even more customers. This week, the company announced the Pebble Time Round. The Round model is "the first smartwatch that looks like a classic wristwatch," according to Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky.
Pebble Time Round is only 6.5mm thin and weighs just 28 grams. The newly designed watch has all of the same features as the Pebble Time, but due to the thinness, the battery only lasts around 2 days.
To make up for the battery life, compared to the Pebble Time which lasts a week, the company added a new quick charge feature. Quick charge will allow Pebble Time Round users to add up to a day of battery with only 15 minutes of charging.
Pebble Time Round is available to pre-order today for $249, with an estimated shipping date this November.
