AppleInsider reports today that Pegatron is apparently already in the middle of manufacturing the next iPhone. According to new information published by DigiTimes, Pegatron has already started making the next iPhone in its factory in Shanghai, China. The info comes courtesy of sources in Taiwan, who say that Pegatron is hoping that orders for Apples latest iPhone will help compensate for the loss in revenue it expects to experience thanks to the decline in ODM laptop shipments in Q3. AppleInsider says that this story backs up another story from last week from Japanese blog MacOtakara, which, aside from having a nice snap of what is said to be the top of the next iPhone, also said that production on the next iPhone is now underway. And as AppleInsider notes, both these stories would support recent talk of a September/October release timetable for the next iPhone.
