Personal Budget app?

Hey,
I am looking for the best app for a personal budget... basically what I want is something that I could log in our budget amount for each expense type, and then log in the amounts all month long... so in the end we could easily see if we went over, or if we stayed within budget... I downloaded something called spending, but you cant give it an original budget amount...

I used to use an app iexpenseit I think. You would give it a total budget for the week/month etc. Then add all your bills etc. to it and it would take them off showing you a little battery type icon draining as you added spending to it. It's bait more advanced than that but that's the basics. Think there's a free version to try aswell...
