I have the iPhone 4 and for some reason the sound is so quiet it's not near as loud as my 3GS. It's mainly when the iPod plays. anyone have any ideas?

what i find for some strange reason when i listen to some albums at half volume sound seems poor compared to other albums i have..sound varies a lot on my iphone4 as well???? ...???

Check your Ringer and Alerts volume (in Settings > Sounds). I turn my all the way up, plus I turn off the ability to lower the volume with the external buttons. That way, no matter how quiet I make my apps/music, the notifications is as loud as they can be.

Also, you may want to look into another ring tone. Some are just really, really quiet (in comparison to others).

Yeah but it's just the iPod it's not the alerts or ringtones. I had a 3GS and it blows this volume out of the water.. did they change speakers on the iPhone 4's?
