How do i delete unwanted photos from Photo Stream?

Right now it's an all or nothing operation. You can't pick and choose. You can delete everything through the Advanced option in iCloud. Rumor has it that the next iOS update will include the ability to delete individual pictures.

I have looked under iCloud in settings and don't see an advanced option? I know I already deleted that file for pics, but tried to show a friend how to remove it and no luck??

In ios 5.1 there will be an option to delete single photos from photostream. For now, you need to turn it off completely from settings-icloud-photostream off

While logged into iCloud in your browser click on your name, which opens your account info. Click on Advanced. You'll find it there.
