Pocket-lint has today posted pictures that are said to be from the Wintek iPhone 5 assembly line. Hard to say whether or not the pictures are genuine, but as the report points out, some of the close-up shots featured on the site show that the phones in the picture have an elongated home button slot, which some of the recent iPhone 5 leaked cases also had, prompting speculation that the next iPhone will have a bigger home button that will also operate as some kind of gesture swipe area. Also, the thinner bezel and wider screen shown in the pictures again seems to back up recent case leaks and numerous rumours going the rounds over the past few months that all pointed to the next iPhone having a wider screen. Other than that, its just kind of cool picture, even if it is a fake, and as Pocket-lint says, who knew that Wintek and Apple employed stormtroopers to assemble the iPhone! It also occurs to me that when they find out who took the pictures, if they are genuine, that person is going to be in big trouble!
