Picture Messaging issues

I am running the 4.0.2 version on T-Mobiles network. I can send picture mail but when someone sends me picture mail I get "the media content was not included due to a picture resolution iphone" I have downloaded Sinful iphone RepoPrep but that is of no help in this situation.
