Back in March, we reported that Nintendo partnered up with DeNA to bring some of its intellectual properties to platforms such as Android and iPhone. Since then, little news has come out of the partnership, but that all changed today.
Nintendo subsidiary The Pokemon Company released a new trailer for its Pokemon Shuffle game via YouTube. The match-three game has been out for a few months now on the Nintendo eShop, however this trailer mainly focuses on the fact that the game will be coming to iOS and Android smartphones.
While we're all hoping for Nintendo to bring over classic games like Pokemon Red & Blue or Zelda, releasing a Pokemon game on iOS is a step in the right direction. Details on a release date for Pokemon Shuffle on iOS are scarce, but the trailer did say the game was coming "soon", which could mean tomorrow, or a month from now.
