possible to delete apps data?

I am selling my phone, I have restored the phone two times. I download iDrive app just to make sure my contacts was there, it didnt prompt me for login details and I restored my contacts from the app, which is not secure. I also downloaded words with friends, it said welcome back 'my name' !

So how do i delete the apps data?

I would try deleting every third party app and then restoring.
