Problem with accessing Yahoo Mail on iPhone & iPad

Hi, I am having a problem with accessing emails on Yahoo. This includes both my iPhone 4s & iPad Air. Both with latest version of IOS. (Not having a problem on my PC)

When trying to retrieve Yahoo emails, the message "connection to the server failed" appears. I have no problems accessing GMail, iCloud, Safari (Google News), via my home, office, and other wireless networks, along with 3G.

I have tried the following: A)Deleted Yahoo from my mail accounts in settings, then reapplying. B) Turned wireless off and back on. C) Hard reset. None of which has helped.

Help, any ideas?

I am encountering the same issue as well. At first, I thought it was my wireless network but I am having the same issue at my work wireless.

I found the following article https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mobile-mail/SLN22197.html?impressions=true that resolved the issue. It was simply a matter for removing and adding Yahoo! Mail in my settings

Thanks, that did the trick! (But only after 2 tries on both devices - strange.)
