Problems transfering music

I just got the new Iphone 4, and backed it up using my iphone 3gs file.
My previous music didn't transfer onto the new phone. So I went in to add it manually from my computer, but now it won't let me know.

Not sure what the problem is...

Please help!

When you are on iTunes make sure your phone is connected. Click on your device and there should be tabs for Info, Apps and so on. If you click on the Music tab make sure to put a check mark on the Sync box. If i am not mistaken I think you have to manually check on all of them but not sure.
