Problems with BBC iplayer on iphone

Has anyone noticed a problem with difficulty pressing play on BBC iplayer on iPhone, I can usually get it going if I press several times. I've tried it on my 3GS and iPhone 4 and this seems to have occurred since the upgrade.
Has anyone experienced this problem or found a solution?

did you download it form cydia? most likely has compatibility issues with 5.0

No I don't think so , what's cydia? I downloaded 5.0 from iTunes and iplayer I've had for ages straight from the BBC. Maybe I should redownload it.

Did the upgrade iOS 5 have BBC iPlayer? I never saw that.

No didn't mean to confuse I've saved the BBC iplayer link to homescreen -so it's like an app; they only do an app for the iPad

I understand what you mean, I have done the same. I don't have any problems pressing 'click to play'. The only thing I can suggest is a simple reboot...
