When my month-old Commuter case broke without being dropped, I was annoyed. I emailed Otterbox on a Saturday to complain but not expecting much. Within a couple of hours, an Otterbox rep emailed me back and gave me simple instructions for warranty service. Within a week a brand new commuter case was on my doorstep. Awesome service.

Wow, that's impressive, someone did the right thing...
 
That's always been my experience as well. No need to send back the defective unit, no questions asked. Definately great customer service.
