PSA: If you're currently upgrading your device to 7.1.X to jailbreak with Pangu from Evasi0n6/7, GeekSn0w or p0sixspwn jailbroken iOSes, you can still restore to iOS 7.1.1 despite iOS 7.1.2 being the latest iOS. Download the 7.1.1 IPSW for your device and Shift/Command + Click the Restore button (recommended in DFU mode if not exclusively in DFU mode) and point iTunes to the iOS 7.1.1 IPSW for your device.
iOS 7.1.2 is a step down from 7.1.1 in terms of tweak/packages compatibility because despite being a single iteration above 7.1.1, it's causing a LOT of issues for some of your perfectly working tweaks on 7.0.6 and below, and tweaks that are working perfectly fine on 7.1 and 7.1.1 (but not 7.1.2 for some reason). So if you're planning to restore to iOS 7.1.X for a Pangu jailbreak, restore to 7.1.1 instead.
