I was trying to find my crazy WiFi password for someone the other day, I went into Settings > WiFi > info [for network] and the WiFi password was gone! There was no option to unhide it like there used to be in iOS 17. Then it hit me! The Passwords app! I went into the Passwords app and there was a WiFi category right there!

So if you are like me and are looking for your WiFi passwords, it is now in the dedicated Passwords app.

Nice to see it all in one place now, however I can still view my wifi password in
Settings > Wi-fi and select the ’i’ symbol next to my Wi-Fi network name.
(This is in the iOS18 Public Beta)

Hmm, very interesting! I can view another network's password just the same as it was. However, my normal network does not show it. I wonder what the difference is?

Okay, now I have figured it out. If the WiFi password was shared with you from somebody else, which I'm guessing mine was, it will not show up in Settings > WiFi > i symbol. However, I must have had it saved at one point in time because it would still show up for me in the Passwords app.

I forgot my network and reconnected using the password, now I can view the password again.
