Question with getting updates

When Apple rolls out with 7.1, how would I go about getting it??? Do I have to unjailbreak?? How is this done and are there any other steps needed??

To upgrade a jailbroken device, place the device in to DFU mode, and simply restore using iTunes. Make sure you backup your device prior to restoring. Also note that there most likely won't be a jailbreak for iOS 7.1, and probably won't be one until the next major iOS release, aiming towards iOS 8 possibly depending on the longevity of iOS 7.
