QuickTime not playing email or video mail

I have a new iphone 4 AT&T with greenpois0n jailbreak. For some reason i am unable to view small video mail clips that are mms to me or email video. All of these videos are sent from other iphones, so it seems like i should be able to view them. Is this a problem with my phone or my jailbreak? Any ideas of how to fix?

Maybe the video format is not supported by quick time and can be played by using VLC. In case u do not have VLC installed in your phone, download it from cydia or from the apple application store, it's free, after installing it reboot your device and open your email where the video is, tap and hold the video icon until you see a list display that ask you to play it or open it with... VLC.
