record video without sound

Is it possible to record video without sound?? I have an iphone 4s. Lowering the volume or turning sound and alarms off does nothing.

Could always cover up the mic with your finger or something.

Tho I don't know if it would block the sound completely.

There's no way to disable the microphone, but covering it up the microphone holes will give you a very quiet/muffled audio track.

If you edit your videos, removing or replacing the audio is fairly straightforward and probably the easiest way to go about it.

If you have an old set of headphone with a broken mic, you can plug that in and then record your video, this might cut the sound from the video, other then that you could just do what MrPhotographerSir said and disable the audio when you edit it.
