Recovering deleted pictures

Is there a way to view recently deleted pictures on an iPhone 4S? I accidentally deleted a few pictures and am wondering if there is a way I can view them and copy them from the phone before they are overwritten. So far I have tried iExplorer and found one of them there.

I'm curious if there are any other programs that will allow me to view the iPhone's content as a hard drive (both what's currently on the phone and also what's been recently deleted), either free or reasonably priced.

You would have to try using data recovery programs. You can try WonderShare.

Use Online Data Recovery Software at your own risk. While it's not against our rules to discuss such software... I like to make note that the majority of the time, once something (regardless of what) is deleted from your iDevice it's most likely gone for good. And no amount of $ will make it any more recoverable.

Same for just about any hard drives, especially if there's data constantly going in and out.

Yep... fragmentation is a recovery killer!!

Was worth checking. iPhones aren't as cool as I thought - and should come with a Recycle Bin like computers do.

You may be able to recover your pictures if you have a backup from before you deleted them. Restore from backup. No guarantees, but it won't do any harm to try.

You can view the photographs on your phone in Windows. Go to My Computer or the equivalent, and your phone will show up as a removable drive. The photographs are in the DCIM folder.

Unfortunately, this will not show deleted photographs. Deleted, on iDevices, really does mean deleted.

iPhone doesn't really have a trash bin capability, normally photos that are accidentally deleted, are permanently deleted.
Unless, you've used a different app to take the photos, you can try to locate the application folder with iexplorer or ifiles. Hopefully, it will be saved somewhere in the folders as back up....worth a try. If not, machines have won!
Makes me wonder what these "pictures" are that you would go head over heel to get them back lol
