Reddit: The Official App Makes Its Way Onto The App Store

Almost a year ago, popular social news site Reddit acquired the folks behind Alien Blue, an unofficial 3rd party Reddit client on iOS. Since then, fans of Reddit have been waiting for Alien Blue to be converted into an official Reddit app.

Thursday, the company released Reddit: The Official App, as it is title in the App Store. The app allows users to browse all Reddit and SubReddit sections in a compact or card view. Users can also do standard Reddit things like post, comment, upvote, downvote and more.

Reddit: TOA also has some nifty features such as themes, bringing a nighttime mode to the application. The lightweight app is merely 6.5 megabytes and can be downloaded in the App Store for free.

If you search for Reddit: The Official App in the Brazilian App Store and you get a notice that it's not available in your country, you won't be able to get it.
