redsn0w jailbreak for 5.0.0 on iPhone 4 is tethered?

Hi there. I was under the impression that the redsn0w iPhone 4 jailbreak was untethered for 5.0.1 and prior. I never upgraded to 5.0.1 from 5.0.0, and my jailbreak is tethered. Is this correct, or should I be using an earlier version of redsn0w?

The JB for iOS 5.0 is unfortunately a Tethered JB. An Untethered exploit wasn't discovered until 5.0.1. Depending on how long you've been JB... there's a possibility that Cydia has SHSHs saved for iOS 5.0.1. Check Cydia's home screen and see what SHSH versions are at the top.
