While we are talking about it. Does adding the semi tether have any adverse affects like battery life, lag, or what not?

Only reason I ask is I've pretty much got all tweaks and theme that I want and my phones running great. I don't want to add anything to disturb that . Lol

No semitether does nothing other than allow you to reboot your phone and use it like a stock iPhone when you're not near a computer to reboot tethered.

im on 5.1 but is this for the 4s as well? i downloaded the snowbrezze but said invalid ipsw.

No... there isn't a JB available for the 4S on iOS 5.1 right now.
