regarding applying themes

hiii friends, i have a problem , when i select any themes from springboard and respring it, nothing changes to my phone, i try to apply punjabi khanda battery, i select it from springboard and then respring, nothing takes effect, i have try many other themes but no changes, is their something i m doing wrong ??? help would be apreciated
