please help, my mom thought to be nice while i was camping to upgrade my phone so wouldn't mind the wait. problem is it was jail broken it will not go into dfu mode, just keeps having the usb and itunes screen and itunes say phone in recovery mode please restore and i always get error 3194. please help

For the host portion. Ignore what's in the guide and follow this.
1) Open your host file and remove any gs.apple.com lines. Save it.
2) In the same directory as your host file, delete the host.umbrella file.
3) Flush your DNS.
4) Retry
