Restriction passcode reset

Hi all,
Can anyone help. Iv forgotten my restriction passcode, is there any way of resetting this without a complete factory reset to new, surely there should be a way??

I'm afraid your only option is a reset. What good would a lock code be if it were so easily bypassed without a reset?
